a. strong individual private property rights

b. the rule of law

c. the institutions of freely functioning markets and

d. free trade.

Goal of Neoliberalism: ''roll back the frontiers of the state''. In this view, the 'dead hand' of the state saps initiative and discourages enterprise; government, however well intentioned, invariably has a damaging effect upon human affairs.

The central pillars of Neoliberalism are; the market and the individuals and Marget Thatcher would say ''there is no such thing as society, only individuals and their families.''

The process of Globalisation by international organisations is alleged to be advancing the neoliberal ideals.
