Italy was finally united inta a nation in 1861.Italy before it's unification , was divided into seven states :Sardinia-Pietmont, rule by an Italian priencely house ; kingdom of the two Sicilies ;Papal state ; Lombardy and Venetia, ruled by Austrian ; Tuscany , Modena and Parma.
