HEY MATE...!!

HERE'S YOUR ANSWER...!!!

Attitudes and Behavior in Psychology. In psychology, an attitude refers to a set of emotions, beliefs, and behaviorstoward a particular object, person, thing, or event. Attitudes are often the result of experience or upbringing, and they can have a powerful influence over behavior.

Attitudes can positively or negatively affect a person's behavior. A person may not always be aware of his or her attitude or the effect it is having on behavior. A person who has positive attitudes towards work and co-workers (such as contentment, friendliness, etc.) can positively influence those around them.

Attitudes do not always predict behavior. Cognitive and affective components of attitudes are not necessarily expressed in behavior. The LaPiere's study shows that the cognitive and affective components of attitudes (e.g. disliking Chinese people) do not necessarily coincide with behavior (e.g. serving them).

Attitudes are evaluations people make about objects, ideas, events, or other people. Attitudes can be positive or negative. Explicit attitudes are conscious beliefs that can guide decisions and behavior. Implicit attitudes are unconscious beliefs that can still influence decisions and behavior.

Every attitude has three components that are represented in what is called the ABC model of attitudes: A for affective, B for behavioral, and C for cognitive. The affective component refers to the emotional reaction one has toward an attitude object. For example, 'I feel scared when I think about or see a snake.'

They do not form overnight but rather, throughout the course of one's life. Moreover, certain attitudes create a negative impact to one's life and may even cause it to fall apart. This is why it is an important task for each person to help themselves take on the proper attitude direction.
