After th kalinga war, Ashoka adopted the Buddhist religion. He adpoted the policy of dhamma to spread Dhamma.
The main principles of dhamma are---
1. Mastery of senses.
2. Pure thought.
3 Thankfulness.
4. Steadfast devotion.
5. Kindness.
6. Charity.
7. Purity.
8. Truthfulness.
9. Service.
10. Support.
11. Respect.
