Answer:

Dhamma - The pali word for Dhamma.

Ashoka's Dhamma aimed at improving lives of the people.

The main four principles of Dhamma were the following:

  • People should not follow ahimsa non-injury to all living creatures.
  • People should live in peace and should not fight over land and religion.
  • They should show respect and tolerance to all religion.
  • Children must obey their parents and show respect. In the same way, students should respect and obey their gurus.
