The methods adopted by Indians during the Non-Cooperation movement were:

Disowning titles: The Non-Cooperation movement started with the surrender of the titles awarded by the British government.

Boycott method: surrender of the titles was followed by the boycott of civil services, army, police, courts, councils, foreign goods and schools etc.   

 Civil disobedience: when the government used repression, then a full civil disobedience campaign was launched.

The Non-Cooperation or Khilafat movement began on January 1921 and various social groups participated in the movement, each with its own specific aspiration. However, the movement did not gain much popularity for a long time and was eventually called off.
