the kings of the bourbon dynasty were sqanders and they exploited the common people including women and children. on the month of october in 1789 Thousands of women marched from Paris to thePalace of Versailles with the slogan 'Give us bread'. they strongly argued for their rights to vote and to give them equal rights and wages

thus the women had an active participation in the revolution.
