Population in India is continuously increasing. In order to meet the increasing Food demand for the growing population, Farmers have to implement some ways by which they can increase their production and even earn more without wasting much of their available resources.

Some steps needed to increase Crop Production are:

1. Use Sprinkler Irrigation or Dripper where water is dripped drop by drop. This reduces percolation of fresh available water into the soil and increases water available for the plants to use. This also increases Harvest up to 50%.
2. Use High Yielding Variety of Seeds with improved Heat-tolerant variety so that crops do not wither away due to excessive heat. This increases Crop-Yield by 23%.
3. Practicing 'Conservation Tillage.' Here Farmers till or turn-over the soil and cover the soil with crop left-overs or residue. This does not cause Soil-Erosion and conserves the Top, Fertile Soil. It also Saves Time and fuel used for tractors to till the soil again and again. It increases Crop-Yield considerably.
4. Use Nitrogenous Fertilizers. Nitrogen is an essential component of Plant Growth. This helps crops to grow faster and yield more. This increases Crop-Yield by 22%.
5. Use a Farm Management Software that takes complete control over your Farming Practices and analyses usage of all inputs and expenses. By this, you can identify your weak points and make proper improvements.

All the above steps improve Soil productivity and increase Harvest that is beneficial to both Farmers and the Country at no extra cost.
