p(x) = 2x^4 - 3x^2 + 6x + 7

p(-1) = 2 × (-1)^4 - 3×(-1)^2 + 6×-1 + 7

{since, x+1=0 ; x = -1}

p(-1) = 2×1 - 3×1 + 6×-1 + 7

= 2-3-6+7

= 9-9 = 0

since, remainder is 0

therefore, (x+1) is a factor of p(x)
