a) √4 is rational ,Because it can be written in the p/q form as √4 =2 I.e., 2/1 .
b) √3+√5 is an irrational no.
c) (2-√2) (2+√2) = 2×2 = 4 .. as bcoz -√2 and +√2 is cancelled out ...hence we can represent 4 as 4/1 so it is a rational no.
d) (√2+√3)^2 = we can use the formula ....as ,
(a+b)^2 = a²+b²+2ab .
so , it is a rational no. .......
