First we will find the the zero of x-3 that will be-

x - 3 = 0

x = 0 + 3

x = 3

Now,

p(x) = x {}^{3} - 4x {}^{2} + x + 6

p(3) =(3)^{3} - 4(3) {}^{2} + (3) + 6

 =>27 - 36 + 3 + 6

 =  > 0 \: ans

\therefore x-3 is the factor.

Step-by-step explanation:

x-3=0

x=3

On putting 3 in place of x,

=3^3-(4*3^2)+3+6

=27-144+9
