Let, α, β and γ are roots of this equation.

After solving the equation we get three roots,

$α = -2 \\ β = \sqrt{ - 3} \\ γ = - \sqrt{ - 3}$

So, factors of this equation are,

$(x + 2) \: and \: (x - \sqrt{ - 3} ) \: and \: (x + \sqrt{ - 3} )$

∴ (x+5) is not a factor of this equation.
