That means every mole of C2H2 (Acetylene) needs 2.5 mole of oxygen
As volume is directly proportional to the number of moles, we can easily deduce that one litre of acetylene needs 2.5 litre of oxygen. Thus, 10 litre acetylene will need 10 X 2.5 = 25 litre oxygen, if the temperature and pressure are same.
