Answer:

Given lines are parallel to each other

Step-by-step explanation:

Given lines

              2x + 3y + 7 = 0 _ (1)

              4x + 6y + 2 = 0 _ (2)

⇒ given lines are two straight lines

here we need to check whether they are parallel to each other

Note :

If two lines are parallel to each other then slopes of two lines are equal

⇒ the slope of line (1)  =  the slope of line (2)

Slope of line (1)  = - ( coefficient of x ) / coefficient of y )

                          = - ( 2 / 3 )

Slope of line (2) = - ( coefficient of x ) / coefficient of y)

                          =  - ( 4 / 6)  = - 2/3

⇒    slope of line (1) = slope of line (2)

⇒  given lines are parallel to each other
