Step-by-step explanation:

Let the three parts are a, b & c

Total amount = Rs. 243 => a + b + c = 243 --------(1)

Given, half of the first Part, one-third of the

second part and one-fourth of third part shall be equal.

=> a/2 = b/3 = c/4

Consider, b/3 = c/4 => b = 3c/4 --------(2)

Consider, a/2 = c/4 => a = 2c/4 --------(3)

from (1), (2) & (3)

2c/4 + 3c/4 + c = 243

=> 2c+ 3c + 4c = 4 (243) => 9c = 972

=> c = 972/9 = 108

=> b = 3x108/4 = 3x27 = 81 [ from eq (1) ]

=> a = 2x108/4 = 2x27 = 54 [ from eq (2) ]

.•. three parts are 54 , 81 & 108.
