when divided by (x + 1) leaves the remainder 19. Also find the remainder when p(x) is divided by

x+1=0 x=-1 so we have to substitute x=-1 44-2(-1)+3(-1)2-(a)(-1)+3(-1)-7

44+2-6+a-3-7=19

44-16+a=19

28+a=19

a=19-28=-9
