we know area of trianhle is given by

1/2[x1(y2-y3)+x2(y3-y1)+x3(y1-y2)]

here

x1=1, y1=-1

x2=-4, y2=6

x3=-3, y3=-5

putying all the given values in the above formula

we get,

1/2[(1)(6+5) +(-4)(-5-(-1)) +(-3)(-1-6)]

=1/2[1(11)+(-4)(-4) +(-3)(-7)]

=1/2[11+16+21]

=1/2[48]

=24 sq. units
