Example 11. In a box, there are some coins of valuation 1rupee,50 paise and 25 paise
and their total number is 450. If the ratio of the total prices of these coins be
8: 5:3, then find the number of each type of coin in the box.

no. of 25 paise coins = 3*25/100x=0.75x

total value of money = rupees 450

x=450*100/1125

x=45000/1125

x= 40

No. of 1 rupees coins=8*40=320

No. of 50 paise coins =5*40=200

No. of 25 paise coins =3*40=120
