therefore
-400=mass*(-10) acceleration due to gravity
mass=40kg
using Newton's third equation of motion for gravity
2gh=v²-u²
2*(-10)*h=0-(5²)
h=25/20=5/4m
work done=potential energy
=mgh
=40*10*5/4
=500J
