Given - Original salary of Shaji = 30000

New salary of Shaji = 36000

Increase in salary of Rekha = 20%

Find - Who got higher increment between Shaji and Rekha.

Solution - Percentage increase in Shaji's salary = Increase in salary/Original salary * 100

Percentage increase = (36000 - 30000/30000) * 100

Percentage increase = 6000/30000 * 100

Percentage increase = 1/5 *100

Percentage increase = 20 %

Thus, boht Shaji and Rekha got same increment in their salary.
