Answer:Two dice are thrown simultaneously What is the probability that the sum of the numbers is 13

(iv) As the sum of two number appearing on the top of two dice can never be 13, there is no outcomes favourable to the event 'sum of two numbers is 13'. ∴ P (sum of 13) =036=0.

Answer:

v) less than or equal to 12

See, when you through the dice firstly if first dice results 1 and second dice also results 1 then N8 will be one plus one is equal to 2. similarly if you and two plus two or three plus three or 4 + 4 then what you will get is that at the last you will get 6 plus 6 that is 12 that means the numbers if two dice are thrown they will be less than or equal to 12 but other options such as 810 at least 10 13 will not be opted here as because you do not know exactly it will come or 10 will come or at least 10 will come of 13 will come therefore in the common popularity will be less than or equal to 12
