Given:

  • A quadratic polynomial is given to us.
  • The polynomial is x²-3

To Find:

  • The zeroes of the polynomial and verify the relationship between the zeroes.

Answer:

Now given quadratic polynomial to us is x²-3.

And we are required to find zeroes amd verify the relationship b/w zeroes and coefficients.

For finding zeroes,we will have to equate it with 0.

=> x² - 3 = 0.

=> x² - (√3)² = 0.

=> (x + √3) (x - √3) = 0.

=> x = 3,-3.

Hence the zeroes are 3 & -3.

Sum of zeroes = √3 + (-√3) = 0 = 0/1 = -b/a

Product of zeroes = √3×-√3 = -3 = c/a .

Hence verfied the relationship between the zeroes and coefficients.
