EXAMPLE 4 - The length of a rectangle is 1 cm more than its
breadth. The diagonal is 29 cm. Find the area of the rectangle.

Then length= (x + 1 )cm

& Diagonal = 29 cm

Now apply pythagoras theorem,

you will get x = 20 cm.
