form ccp lattice and those of element X occupy 2/3rd of
tetrahedral voids. Find the formula of the compound.​

No. of atoms of Y=4 ( for c.c.p)

No. of atoms of X=2/3×8=16/3 ( for f.c.c.)

∴ Formula of compound will be X4Y3.
