Step-by-step explanation:

since data is 50 , 90 , 120 , 40, 180 , 200 , 80

L = largest observation in the data

= 200

S = smallest observation in the data

= 40

Range = L-S

= 200 - 40

= 160

coefficient of range = L-S / L+S

= 200 - 40 / 200 + 40

= 160/ 240

= 2/3
