Answer:

total profit =60

total profit percentage =2.5%

Step-by-step explanation:

given meenu bought 2 fans for 1200 each she sold one for 5%loss and other for 10 %profit

1)case 1

cost of fan =1200

loss1=5%

after cancellation we get s.p=1140

case 2 cost of fan 1200

profit =10%

after cancellation we get 1320

total prise =1200+1200=2400

total selling price =1140+1320

=2460

total profit =2460-2400=50rs

profit percentage =(60×100)/2400=2.5

hope this helps

Given :

  • Cost Price (C.P) of each fan is Rs.1200.
  • Loss of 5% at one fan.
  • Profit of 10% at second fan.

To Find :

  • Selling Proce (S.P) of each fan.
  • Profit or Loss.

Solution :

First Fan :

At first fan there is a loss of 5% .So ,

\longmapsto\tt{S.P=\dfrac{94}{100}\times{1200}}

\longmapsto\tt{S.P=95\times{12}}

\longmapsto\tt\bold{S.P=Rs.1140}

So , The S.P of the fan is Rs.1140..

Second Fan :

At second fan there is a profit of 10%.So,

\longmapsto\tt{S.P=\dfrac{110}{100}\times{1200}}

\longmapsto\tt{110\times{12}}

\longmapsto\tt\bold{Rs.1320}

So , The S.P of the fan is Rs.1320.

Now ,

\longmapsto\tt{Total\:C.P=1200+1200}

\longmapsto\tt\bold{Rs.2400}

\longmapsto\tt{Total\:S.P=1140+1320}

\longmapsto\tt\bold{Rs.2460}

As S.P > C.P . So ,

\longmapsto\tt{Profit=S.P-C.P}

\longmapsto\tt{2460-2400}

\longmapsto\tt\bold{Rs.60}

Therefore , There is a profit of Rs.60...
