Example 9.4 A force of 5 N gives a mass
m,, an acceleration of 10 m s2 and a
mass m,, an acceleration of 20 m s2.

Answer:

Explanation:

Force = mass × acceleration

now given that force = 5 Newton

5 = 10m1

m1 = 0.5kg

similarly m2 = 0.25 kg

now combine their mass

0.25 + 0.5 = 0.75

Force = mass × acceleration

5 = 0.75a

5/0.75 = a

a = 500/75

a = 6.66 or 6.67 m/s²

Hope this helps ☺️
