1. Tapetal cells of microsporangium (tapetum is the innermost wall layer of microsporangium which develops further and becomes pollen sac).

2. Nucleus of microspores undergoes mitosis and forms two unequal nuclei, a large vegetative nucleus and a small generative nucleus and thus, forms binucleate pollen.
