Answer:

Let’s first define Aesthetic. It refers to Art, the Fine Arts and the Performing Arts.

What is sought in Art? One thing — the Beautiful.

And yet, it is widely said that “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” If that common saying is correct (and I claim that it is) then we cannot offer any examples of the Beautiful, because what is Beautiful to one person may be boring to another Person.

For example, I myself find most Baroque music to be boring. I like Bach, but his pieces tend to be overplayed — and I would much rather listen to 20th century classical music — if I must listen to classical. Yet others may find Baroque music to be their ship to the Isle of Beauty.

For example, I enjoy modern Art. Yet others find modern Art boring, and they enter a museum of modern Art only to be polite to friends.

For example, I enjoy Film Noir. Yet others fall asleep during such movies.

So — what are examples of the Aesthetic? Whatever you find Beautiful. Yet what each individual finds Beautiful, only they alone will know for sure.
