Some of the example of animal responding towards the environment or environmental change are:

  • Chameleon changes its colour according to the surrounding.
  • Porcupine expands its thorns which are attached to its body when it feels fear.
  • Lizards change their body temperature to survive the environment. Many predators which hunt their food act when they see a prey around them.
  • Similarly when the prey identifies that a hunter coming towards them, they start running to save their life.

EXPLANATION:

Environment keeps on changing so do the animals. Also the animal responds to the surrounding. They act according to that  and if they feel fear or appetite they will respond accordingly.
