Critical angle :the angle of incidence beyond which days of light passing through a denser medium to the surface of less medium are no longer refracted but totally reflected . Total internal reflection: the effect that occurs when light meet the interface between the medium in which it is traveling and a medium of smaller refractive index at an angle of incidence greater than that of critical angle, all light being reflected back to first medium
