Access is usually known for it's relational database service.

Whenever we make a database in access it is a relational database. Relational database is a database where all the data is stored in a central place and any application that requires it can access it from that central location and any application can even make changes in that database.

Example of access database is the database maintained by a school. Such type of database may contain information about the students, their activities in school, the fees due, etc.
