Answer:

Here is your answer.....

Dobereiner's law of triads states that, the atomic mass of the middle element of a triad is the arithmetic mean of the atomic masses of the other two elements. Example:In the triad of lithium, sodium and potassium. The atomic mass of lithium is 7 and the atomic mass of potassium is 39....

Answer:

A German chemist Johann Wolfgang Dobereiner(1829) noted that there were group of elements with three elements known as triads in each group with similar chemical properties. He tried to give a relationship between the properties of elements and their atomic weights.

Dobereiner stated that when elements with similar properties are taken three at a time and arranged in the ascending order of their atomic weights, the atomic weight of the middle element is the average of the atomic weights of the first and third elements. This statement is called the Dobereiner's law of triads.

Eg:

lithium(Li)7

Sodium (Na)23

potassium (K)39

AM of atomic weights=7+39/2=23

Calcium(Ca)40

Strontium (Sr)87.5

Barium(Ba)137

AM of atomic weights=40+137/2=87.5

Hope it works....................................✌️✌️
