Bonds formed by complete transfer of electrons are called electrovalent bond. Some of the most common examples of electrovalent bond are - NaCl, KCl, MgCl2, CaCl2… 5. Na transfers its outermost electron to Cl forming a Ionic or electrovalent bond.
