Example is diffusion of gases.
When substances move from higher concentration gradient to a lower concentration gradient without the use of energy related molecules, that type of transport is called passive transport. It can be seen in the diffusion of gases across the alveoli . It can also be seen in the diffusion of neutral solutes across the plasma membrane.
