A factor of fear works here. It spawns anxiety in person’s mind. When presenting yourself in presence of so many people then constantly a thought runs into mind “Will people like my presentation?”. This makes a person anxious.

Signs:

Excessive heart beat rate
Sweating constantly.
Reason - This happens when person is in agony about feedback of presentation.

Solution -

No need to worry about It as this is just temporary state. It’s good to get the presentation verified by someone and more people If possible.

Nervousness:

Another factor of fear. This usually happens when a person is not having prior experience of presentation. When a person is presenting first time in front of people then feels nervous. Secondly when all from audience give unexpected laugh of loud due to some mistake.

Signs:

Shivering.
Body freezing and heart beat gets lower .
Reason - Stage fear is a reason for It.

Solution -

This comes through practice. So, before delivering actual presentation, It’s good practice multiple times in front of people close to you. If audience laugh instantly then try to divert attention with instant statements by addressing all.

Forgetting speech:

This usually happen with even expert presenters. Even after practicing multiple times when one gets deeper into topic then He/She will be so much attached/imbibed that one will forget next part. This also happens due to nervousness and anxiety. When stage fear or bad audience response is found then this will be visible.

Signs:

Slurring of tongue.
Constantly scratching head/forehead
Reason - Anxiety, Nervousness and deeper attachment with subject.

Solution -

Solution of anxiety and nervousness is already given. While delivering speech, It’s good to keep a paper with highlighting points with self.

In case not possible to keep a paper then to ask trustworthy person from audience to keep note and to pass certain signs after certain point of presentation.

Annoyance:

This is another challenge!!!

There are certain group of audience, who are not really interested into presentation. So, they would be busy talking and laughing everytime, might be yawning even.

Quite possibly, certain people from audience group dislike presenter. They will always make/pass certain gestures to ruin presentation of a person.

Such gestures may make a person annoying and impact will be visible in presentation by bit high tone.

Signs:

Annoying tone in presentation.
Losing happiness on face.
Reason - Unexpected bad audience gestures and/or bad health

Solution -

For health concern, nothing can help except will power of a person.

For audience gesture issue, do avoid eye contact with such audience. While delivering, select people from every corner to match eyesight with and switch your eye contact with those people only.
