Today’s post is for our new members, who have just started to learn Hindi language. Hindi language is not very different than other language as you will find many similarities between, say English and Hindi. And this is because, Hindi has originated from Sanskrit language which is the oldest known language in Indo-European languages group which has some 3 billion native speakers and consists of world’s major languages such as Spanish, English, Hindi, Portuguese, Bengali, Russian, German, Punjabi, Marathi, French and Italian etc. The good news is that they these languages share many similarities in their grammar and in some cases, vocabulary too.

To learn Hindi or any language, getting starting with nouns (संज्ञा – Sangya) is a good idea. So, let me show you Proper Nouns in this post.

Proper nouns (व्यक्तिवाचक संज्ञा – Vyaktivaachak Sangya) are words which indicate a place, living being or thing.
