Average of one number is always the number itself, as average is sum of the numbers divided by their count.

Following Example will be helpful :

First of all, Get the average of the following set of numbers:

Let it be 5,10,20,5,,10(assuming)

Now, Let us Find the sum:

Total Sum = 5+10+20+5+10=50

Then we have to Divide the 50 by 5 (the total number of numbers added,according to definition of avg. now. )

)50 divided by 5 is 10, so 10 is the average..............
