Hello!
Here is your answer

Newton's first law states that

A body at rest continues to stay at rest or A body moving with particular velocity continues to retain it's velocity until and unless an external force acts on it.

EXCEPTION:

A body moving with a certain velocity on the surface of the earth.

Examples :

¤ We cannot prove Newton's first law on the surface of earth because of friction.

¤ Planets revolving around the sun is an example of Newton's First law of motion.

⟹ Newton's First Law states that an object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless acted upon by an external force. It may be seen as a statement about inertia, that objects will remain in their state of motion unless a force acts to change the motion.

⟹ Newton's Second Law of motion states that the rate of change of momentum of an object is proportional to the applied unbalanced force in the direction of the force. ie., F=ma. Where F is the force applied, m is the mass of the body, and a, the acceleration produced.

⟹ Newton's Third Law of Motion - Whenever one body exerts a force on another body, the second body exerts an equal and opposite force on the first body. - Force exerted by first body is action. - Force exerted by second body is reaction. - Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
