The best examples of the nuclear fusion is the energy of our sun. The sun is composed of lots of hydrogen and by the fusion of two isotopes of the hydrogen, helium is produced and in turn energy is released.
In nuclear power plants, energetic neutrons are directed into a sample of the isotope uranium-235. The energy from the neutrons can cause the uranium nucleus to break in any of a number of different ways. A common fission reaction produces barium-141 and krypton-92.

Answer:
- Fission in simple terms means breaking.
- Fusion in simple terms means Fusing or combining.
- In fission, strength is won via way of means of splitting aside heavy atoms.
- Example : uranium undergoes fission , into smaller atoms consisting of iodine, caesium, strontium, xenon and barium, to call only a few.
- Fusion is combining mild atoms.
- Example: hydrogen isotopes, deuterium and tritium, to shape the heavier helium.
