examples of each property of maths
Answers
The four properties of whole numbers are as follows:
- Closure Property.
- Associative Property.
- Commutative Property.
- Distributive Property.
1) Closure Property In mathematics, a set is closed under an operation if performing that operation on members of the set always produces a member of that set
2) Associative Property In mathematics, the associative property is a property of some binary operations, which means that rearranging the parentheses in an expression will not change the result
3) The commutative property states that the numbers on which we operate can be moved or swapped from their position without making any difference to the answer.
4) The distributive property is a property of multiplication used in addition and subtraction. This property states that two or more terms in addition or subtraction with a number are equal to the addition or subtraction of the product of each of the terms with that number.
