Answer:

Climate scientists have built climatic models to predict the fluctuations of earth's climate due to non-human factors (volcanic eruptions, changes to solar output) and these models match historical data about climate up until the 20th century. But when they are used on data from the last 100 years, the model which doesn't take into account human activity (carbon emmisions, other atmospheric pollutants, changes in land use) seems to go wrong around 1960.

I don't have the education to create these climatic models on my own so instead I trust the scientists who have already spent time studying the atmosphere and climate. I certainly can't point out anything which seems "wrong" about these models.

Also, fossilized carbon contains different percentages of the isotopes of carbon and so it is "lighter" than atmospheric carbon. Over time samples of atmospheric carbon have been getting "lighter" as well. This supports the point that additional carbon in the atmosphere is from fossilized sources which have been burnt.

Human Impacts on the Environment. Humans impact the physical environment in many ways: overpopulation, pollution, burning fossil fuels, and deforestation. Changes like these have triggered climate change, soil erosion, poor air quality, and undrinkable water.
