Fungi which show no sexual life cycle are referred to as imperfect fungi. These fungi reproduce only asexually, having lost their sexual reproductive cycles. Example: Deuteromycetes. Fungi which reproduce through asexual spores and sexually-produced spores are called perfect fungi.
