If you are in a room, more than likely you are surrounded by four walls that are all perpendicular to each other. Where they meet creates a line. The ceiling is perpendicular to all four walls, and so is the floor. Another good example of perpendicular lines we can see in nature are a football field. All four corners of a football field are perpendicular to each other.
