Chameleons are often described as the “quick-change artists” of the animal kingdom, rapidly altering the shade of their skins to blend into their environment. Animals depict many behavioral and structural changes which are temporary in nature.
For example, bear hibernate during extreme winters to stay warm and maintain their body protein and as winter ends they come out to surfaces and live their normal lives.
Just like that, a structural change is shown by chameleon which changes its color similar to its environment which acts as a camouflage to protect them against prey.
