hello user

here is ur answer

ZERO WORK DONE :

     generally work done is defined as the product of force and displacement

  W = FScosθ

when the angle between the force and displacement is 0 ° ( straight angle)

W = FS x 0

W = 0

then the workdone is equal to 0

hence the workdone is zero workdone

EXAMPLES OF ZERO WORKDONE

1) IF A BLOCK IS MOVING IN A SMOOTH HORIZONTAL SURFACE THEN THE WORKDONE IS ZERO.

2)  WHEN U PUSH THE WALL THEN THE WORKDONE IS ZERO

Zero Work Done

There is a possibility that zero work is done even in the presence of large force and displacement. This happens when the displacement of the body is perpendicular to the direction of force. In other words, if the angle between the force and the displacement is 90°, then the work done will be zero. Let us illustrate this with examples as follows.

Examples :

(a) Work done by the girl in pushing the wall of her house.

(b) The boy standing in the same position holding weight with his outstretched hand.

(c) Work done by the coolie carrying a suitcase on his head and moving on a horizontal platform.

(d) Work done by the string when it swirls in a circle with a stone tied to it.
