eg:-
1:-A sharp knife cuts more effectively than a blunt knife,the sharp knife,having very small  area on edges offers a large pressure on object to be cut,while blunt knife fails .
2:- Trucks/big vehicles have pairs of wheels increasing surface area so that they do not apply more pressure on the road.
3:-nail/pin is sharp and has less surface area increasing its pressure on the wall and can be hammered easily.

sharp knife cuts better than a blunt knike because it has less surface area and exerts more pressure
