Answer: Chrysophytes, dinoflagellates, euglenoids, slime moulds

Explanation:

1. Chrysophytes: They are the chief producers in the ocean. Found in fresh waters. Diatoms (algae) example of it. They have a cell wall structure just like a soap dish which are made up of silica and they are indestructible. Diatoms have left behind large amount of cell wall deposits in their habitat; this accumulation over   billions of years is referred to as ‘diatomaceous earth’. They are used in polishing, filtration of syrups and oils.

2. Dinoflagellates: Mostly marine and photosynthetic. They appear in different colours depending upon their cell like red, green, brown, blue. They are biflagellates. Red dinoflagellates rapidly multiplies which causes the red tides or the sea appear red in colour which also releases toxic and kills the marine animals like fishes. Example: Gonyaulax

3. Euglenoids: Found in stagnant water. They have a protein layer made up of pellicle instead of cell wall which makes the body flexible. They are biflagellates (one short, one long). They are mixotropic in nature (both autotroph and heterotroph). Example: Euglena

4.Slime Moulds: Saprophytic in nature. They engulf the decaying twigs and leaves. Under suitable conditions, they form an aggregation called plasmodium which may grow and  spread over several feet. During unfavourable conditions,  the plasmodium differentiates and forms fruiting bodies bearing spores at their tips. The spores have true walls. Spores are dispersed by air currents.
