Except which value of k does the simultaneous equations 5-kx= 10y and x+15y=-1 have a unique solution

The two equations when arranged in proper way are

-kx-10y +5=0         And

X + 15y + 1 = 0

The two equations will have a unique solution only when

a1/a2 is not equal to b1/b2

So,

-k/1 is not equal to -10/15

-k is not equal to -2/3

K is not equal to 2/3

Hope this helps you
