One of the methods are multi cropping that is mostly found in the rural villages. Multi cropping is where one can grow more than one crop in a particular piece of land.
Second method is using high yielding variety of seeds to provide fertility to the soil and result in a greater production of grains on a single plant.
Third method is by using chemical fertilisers that would result into a better yield of crops. These fertilisers would prevent insects or others organisms to eat away the plants.
Manures and other organic fertilisers do not cause pollution because they are natural and are produced by the nature itself. These organic fertilisers provide all the essential nutrients to the plant to grow hence they are biodegradable also.
